Robert Kiyosaki is an investor, businessman and best-selling author. His book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, reveals what the rich teach their kids about money that the poor and middle class do not. "The main reason people struggle financially is because they spent years in school but learned nothing about money. The result is people learn to work for money...but never learn how to have money work for them," says Robert. Born and raised in Hawaii, Robert is fourth-generation Japanese-American. He comes from a prominent family of educators. His father was the head of education for the State of Hawaii.

In 1985 Robert founded an international education company that taught business and investing to tens of thousands of students throughout the world.

Retiring at the age of 47, Robert continued with his love of investing. It was during his "retirement", he wrote Rich Dad Poor Dad, the #1 New York Times bestseller. Robert followed with Rich Dad's CASHFLOW Quadrant and Rich Dad's Guide to Investing - all 3 books have been on the top 10 best-seller lists simultaneously on The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and The New York Times. In January 2001 Robert launched Rich Kid Smart Kid.

Concerned about the growing gap between the "haves" and "have nots"  Robert created  the patented board game CASHFLOW® 101 to teach individuals the same financial strategies his Rich Dad spent years teaching him... the same financial strategies that allowed Robert to retire at 47,

Although Robert's business is real estate, trading and building businesses, his true passion is teaching. He is a highly acclaimed speaker on financial education and his work has inspired audiences worldwide. Robert has appeared on Oprah and other top national TV and radio shows.

Robert has a profound message for those wanting to improve their financial lives. That message is:
"With every dollar in your hand, you have the power to choose to be rich, poor or middle class."

THE  REVIEWS

1.     Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money--That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! by Robert T. Kiyosaki, Sharon L. Lechter  *****

#NO 1 New York Times Best Seller

"Personal-finance author and lecturer Robert T. Kiyosaki developed his unique economic perspective from two very different influences--his two fathers. One father (Robert's real father) was a highly educated man, but fiscally poor. The other father was the father of Robert's best friend--the Dad who was an eighth grade dropout who became a self-made multi-millionaire. The lifelong monetary problems experienced by his "poor dad" pounded home the counterpoint communicated by his "rich dad." Taking that message to heart, Kiyosaki was able to retore at 47. RICH DAD, POOR DAD, written with consultant and CPA Sharon L. Lechter lays out Kiyosaki's philosophy behind his relationship with money. RICH DAD, POOR DAD opens readers eyes by:

- exploding the myth that you need to earn a high income to be rich
- challenging the belief that your house is an asset
- defining once and for all an asset versus a liability
- explaining what kids need to know about money for their future financial success"

Learn how to have your money work for you and why you don't need to earn a high income to be rich.

2.     Rich Dad's Guide to Investing: What the Rich Invest in, That the Poor and the Middle Class Do Not! by Robert T. Kiyosaki (Author), Sharon L. Lechte  *****

"The rich get richer. The poor get poorer.

We've all heard that complaint many times before. But finally, that long-standing monetary tradition has been shattered, as Kiyosaki explains how even the smallest investor can start benefiting from the investing patterns of the richest folks.

Robert Kiyosaki knows all this first hand. There was a time in the 1980's when he and his wife, Kim, were so cash poor that they were forced to sleep in their car. Today, however, the Kiyosakis are multi-millionaires, and are considered highly sophisticated investors.

Based upon the four tenets of RICH DAD, POOR DAD (are you an employee, self-employed, business owner, or an investor?) the INVESTING GUIDE explains the nuts-and-bolts approach to understanding the real earning power of money, and how you can start cashing today. Along the way, Kiyosaki explains how he's invested his monies as his own wealth has grown over the years."

3.     Cashflow Quadrant: Rich Dad's Guide to Financial Freedom by Robert T. Kiyosaki, Sharon L. Lechter  *****

4.     Rich Dad's Retire Young, Retire Rich by Robert T./Lechter Kiyosaki ***

In this fifth addition to his highly successful "Rich Dad" series, Kiyosaki (Rich Dad Poor Dad) now focuses on the power of debt leveraging in order to work less and earn more. Beginning with the principle of changing attitudes about financial freedom, he explains the difference between earned income and passive or investment income, managing good debt that makes money for you, such as in real estate, the fundamental concern about 401(k) retirement plans that are too focused on stock market performance, and the need to create a long-term financial freedom plan and the emotional discipline to stick to it. Listeners will likely be captivated as they learn how to replicate his success, and the crisp narration by Jim Ward definitely makes this fact-filled collection of sound financial advice another hit for Kiyosaki. The solid, practical insight into how to put together a plan to financial freedom will require a commitment to changing lifestyles and personal attitudes about work and, of course, enough time left in life to allow the investments to succeed. Highly recommended.

5.     Rich Dad's Prophecy: Why the Biggest Stock Market Crash in History Is Still Coming... and How You Can Prepare Yourself and Profit from It! by Robert T. Kiyosaki, Sharon L. Lechter *****

When the first baby boomers celebrate their 70th birthdays in 2016, according to rich dad (the author's financial mentor and father of his boyhood chum), a massive stock market crash will ensue. Joining half a dozen popular Rich Dad books, this volume continues Kiyosaki's eloquent yet simple survival instructions to investors present and future. Kiyosaki's wealth stems from lessons learned at rich dad's balance sheets, and here he deftly illustrates those complex financial truths. He encourages readers-many of whom suffer from what he sees as the dismal lack of financial education in the school system-to understand factors such as ERISA, the investor-unfriendly retirement law for which rich dad vilified the government, and the overabundance of "white bread" financial advice for the masses. Wall Street has nothing to gain by smartening up investors, Kiyosaki warns, so it's up to people to educate themselves. Those convinced that reading financial statements is an activity solely for the sophisticated and the moneyed will be reassured by Kiyosaki's analogies-Noah's ark is a primary one-as he colorfully covers a host of investing esoterica and scrutinizes details every investor should recognize. "Investing time when I had no time, and investing money when I had very little money is what made me rich," he says.

9.     How to Buy and Sell A Business: You Can Win in the Business Quadrant  by Garrett Sutton, Robert T. Kiyosaki  ***

It sounds like paradise-being your own boss. Owning your own business, setting your own hours, answering to no one. Garrett Sutton explains why there is much less financial risk involved with buying an existing business than with starting one up. The best time to sell is when the economy and the industry are in good shape, so HOW TO BUY AND SELL A BUSINESS details the timing of putting a company up for sale, and also illustrates: · The Benefits and Specific Concerns of Franchising: One third of all retail sales occur through franchise outlets and almost 10 million people are employed by franchise businesses. · Putting Together a Selling Prospectus: Also known as a marketing brochure or offering memorandum, how to write the document that markets a business to prospective buyers. · Financial Reports: The primary way a buyer judges a business is by the numbers. Financial reports must be accurate and credible. HOW TO BUY AND SELL A BUSINESS also discusses how sellers can keep their companies in prime selling condition in order to take advantage of unforeseen opportunities, and much more.

11.  If You Want to Be Rich & Happy Don't Go to School: Ensuring Lifetime Security for Yourself and Your Children by Robert T. Kiyosaki, Hal Z. Bennett  ****

Although he is an educator himself, Robert Kiyosaki doesn't think much of schools--at least those of the American variety. As the author sees it, we have continued to educate our children using the models and methods of a century ago. Not surprisingly, then, we lack what Kiyosaki calls "the basic skills necessary to be successful, happy, contributing citizens." Can his own ideas help to reverse the damage? Certainly that's the belief of Newsweek editor David Hackworth, who describes this book as "a revolutionary primer for every concerned parent, educator and all leaders from the White House to City Hall."
